12 Days of Christmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas my human gave to me:


Twelve bags of jerky!

Eleven crunchy milk bones,

Ten squirrels running,

Nine bouncy balls,

...Eight furry toys,

Seven stolen peanuts,

Six rubber chew toys,

Five LASER LIGHTS!

Four pieces of toast,

Three slices of bacon,

Two scrambled eggs,

And a mouse in a plastic ring!!

My afternoon at Target

I went shopping with my mom on Sunday, I just love going with her. I just walk right in like i'm supposed to be there and know says anything, except for ahh, oh she's so cute and can I pet her. Of course I abilge with a wag of my tail and a nuzzle.
So one of our stops was Target, mom loves going to Target. As we were walking around the store we came to the "people" toy area and all the sudden (I Promise) this doll jumped out at me it was going to attack I just know it. I started barking at it telling it to back the heck up! It didn't listen it just sat there with it's plastic arms up in the air and it's mouth open. Scared the pudding right out of me. Mom got down and told me it was OK, but i'm telling you if "small people" play with that...we'll that's just sick. I told mom too. She said I know there they don't make dolls like they used to. Everything has to talk, pee or do something scary. Mom told me she had soft cuddly babies. I maybe could like that. But mom does have a "Lot's O Lovin Bear" not to keen on that either. If it wasn't up on a shelf i'd probably kill it!
We continued shopping when all the sudden a little boy jumped out of no where with a scary helmet on I barked at him to. How dare you jump out at me...bark bark, that showed him.
We left Target and continued our shopping to the grocery store and a few other stops. Going places don't matter where I love it! I love hanging my head out the window smelling all the good stuff. I love people looking at me...I mean after all, I am a good looking Pup! :)
OK I guess I better get going, I'm sure there is a squirrel just calling my name.

Hello everyone!
I had a very long day today and I am glad to be back at home. I loved being with my daddy all day but it was a very long drive, we went from home in Everett to Lake Chelan which is in Eastern WA. and like I said a long drive.

Now back at home here are a few pictures mom took of me, my backyard and running up the back steps to come inside.

I love to sit on the deck with my head through the poles watching for squirrels

 As soon as I see the squirrel, I run down the steps around this big tree (off to the right) and down the fence line behind the bear waving and down the other fence line and back. One of these days I'm gonna get one!

Now back at home here are a few pictures mom took of me, my backyard and running up the back steps to come inside.

Today I was so worried about my daddy, he climbed some weird looking stairs (ladder) and was making loud noise (pole saw). Mom sad he was OK he is just cutting limbs off our tree. I watched while I sat far back on the porch.
The whole side of the boat has a bunch of limbs, daddy had to cut them down because they were growing so low in the driveway and touching the house and shed. Tweedles, I hope this doesn't upset you, I know you love the forest so much. Mommy said it had to be done.

Roxy and I are still very much around and I'm sorry for not visiting your blogs lately, but my mom got a new job and she's just so busy. We have a holiday weekend so we will catch up all we've been missing.

My Auntie Diane arrives today!

I am so excited to see my aunt Diane, I will have my mom take many many pictures while she is here and share them with all of you. This weekend I even get to see my friend Tweedles, I hope she remembers me, I have gotten bigger since the last time I saw her. We are going to go to the see the tulips in Mt. Vernon this weekend and have lunch so please please please pray for NO rain! I don't really mind it but it would be nice if it would just be nice and sunny.
OK I need to go take a power nap, Auntie Di should be home any very soon and I want to be rested up for her. I'll post pictures later.

Looking forward to Spring

Why am I looking forward to Spring? Because the Tulip Festival is coming and with that, I am looking forward to seeing my Aunt Diane, and my good friend Tweedles and her moms. It will be such a fun weekend of all of us getting together and walking the fields. Soaking up the sunshine and having a good dinner with good friends.
Come on Spring...got here already!
