My Busy Saturday

Today, Mom dad and I were out and about early. First stop was Costco, that's OK but not a lot of fun...then we went to PetsMart...I went in for my very FIRST Mani and Pedi! Mom said I would love it because she gets this done all the time. So here are a few pictures...

Angie was so gentle...she is the BEST!

Later in the day we went for a walk to the forest, I thought to myself, I wonder if it will be anything like Tweedles forest...even it is not the same I am going to pretend it is and that way I can pretend Tweedles is with me. I'll just pretend that all my doggy friends are with me. My Auntie Gail and Kong came along...Kong has been here before so he lead the way. At first mom was nervous to take me off the leash, but she relented and released me so I could run with kong. We checked out everything, smelled lots of smells. I found a dead squirrel, but mom yelled "Leave It" and that's the sign for don't touch so I walked away like a good girl. This place was so much fun, I will come back again and again for sure! Oh Auntie Di, please don't worry it was totally safe.

One really cool thing we found at the top of the hill were all these PINK tents...it was day 2 camp site for the Breast Cancer walk!!! We Love BOOBIES...Support your local Breast Cancer!

Friday with Mom

Today I went to work with Mom...still very sleepy

We had a good day...I spent time in the court yard playing...

I also spent time with David playing with him in his offfice and my little toy he keeps there just for ME! (it's a Curious George...it's really cool!)

Later in the day I was napping on mom's desk (my favorite spot) and David came up and slipped a dollar under my paw and told me to go buy something special...so mommy took me to PetsMart and I found just what I wanted...JERKY! YUM! Thanks David!

Going to work with Papa

Hi everyone!
Today I get to go with my dad, his job allows him to drive around to different places so going in the truck is fun. Dad made a nice spot for me to ride next to him, I have my bed and my one of my favorite toys. Maybe if i'm lucky he'll stop at Trader Joe's for dog bones. I just love em!

Have a great day everyone,

Write a POST HELP a DOG!

* Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.

* This year the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive is raising awareness for homeless dogs by donating a bowl of food to shelter dogs for everyone who becomes a "Fan" or "Likes" the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive on Facebook. So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated.

* Special for BlogPaws West: For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive through September 19, PEDIGREE will donate a bag of its new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide. It's simple: Write a post, help a dog.

* Thursday, September 16 through Sunday, September 19, the Pedigree BlogPaws bloggers will host a Blog Hop to help raise awareness for the "Write a post, help a dog" effort.

I am sorry to hear of all the animals that may be hungry out there and I would gladly give you my Jerky treats to fill your belly.

Roxy's New Sweater

Check me out...

Look at me all styling and stuff...mom and dad took me to the puppy store today and picked out a new sweater, they said I would be needing it soon. I have to tell you I was a little embarrassed mom just changed me from one sweater to the next right out in the open where everyone could see. They really should have dressing rooms for this sort of thing. I caught the eye of a few "big" dogs looking at me. Daddy just cleared his throat as if to say she's just a pup so back off! LOL! My Papa is so good and loves me so much, I feel so safe when I am with him and mommy too.

Mixer and Roxy

Just a quick note to let you know my mom made these things called cupcakes (yum) yes yes before you get all weird I had one very tiny bite. Anyway, the mixer I DON'T LIKE IT! It's to loud and made me BARK BARK BARK! Mommy thought it was funny, she showed me what she was doing but I didn't care I didn't like it at all...the finished product however was quite good.

Bye Bye Auntie Di

With a sad heart I took my Auntie Diane to the airport this morning...OK it was really early and I slept through most of it, but none the less I am sad to see her go. It was so much fun having her here with me getting lots of kisses and hugs. Next time I see her I will be a big girl and she will say "ohmigosh, Roxy you're such a sweet girl" and then the kisses will begin! Love you Auntie Di, thanks for all the hugs and kisses and playing with me it was so much fun!

My trip to the land of Tweedles

This weekend we took a rode trip to Oregon to see the Dahlia Festival and we meet Tweedles and her moms. Our first stop was the Dahlias, and oh how beautiful they were. Mom and I stopped and smelled them and took lots of pictures trying to figure out what to plant next year. I told mom to buy the one called Wildcat...since we have those at home.
Tweedles was with us and when I walked up to meet her I thought "oh my gosh" "you are half the size of my cousin Kong" I whispered in her ear what happened how come you are not big like him...She whispered back in my ear "us girls we have to stay petite and keep our girlish figures" it took me a second to understand then I realized wow girls we got the power...we stay beautiful and we get anything we want, the boys will just give us everything and you what Kong does.
So after the Dahlias we went to Tweedles house and Forest, wow it is magical, Tweedles is such a lucky dog she showed us her forest and her barn I think that's wher the magic bubbles are kept, but i'm not 100% sure. She took Kong and I all over the place then Kong and I explored on our own while Tweedles kept a watchful eye on us. She told me not to go to far because of the cougar and bears. I had no idea what she was talking about but if Tweedles said it I believe it.
We all went in Tweedles house such a beautiful house and her mom gave Kong and I a snack, we love snacks. Then it was my turn to show Tweedles and eveyone all my tricks...everyone was so surprised and happy. Then Tweedles showed me her trick, her mommy told her "don't look" and Tweedles turned away and her mommy laid a treat on her foot, then a few seconds later she said ok look... And Tweedles took the snack. Now that was good.
This has been such a great trip with my mommy, daddy, and Aunties, Kong and meeting Paulette and Georgie and especially meeting TWEEDLES. Mom did take pictures and we'll post some later.
Thank you Tweedles for sharing your magical place with Kong and I we loved it!

Roxy
